Aliyeik Initiative is a grassroots Organization working to end poverty and bring hope to marginalized communities in Kenya’s arid regions and informal settlements of Kenya. We believe that with the right support, vulnerable families can transform their lives – creating sustainable livelihoods, healthy families, and peaceful neighborhoods. Over more than a decade, we’ve touched thousands of lives from the remote villages of Marsabit County to the informal settlements of Nairobi.

“I never dreamed my children would go to bed with full bellies,” says Fatuma, a mother of five from Karare in Marsabit. “After joining Aliyeik initiatives, I learned to grow drought-tolerant crops in my kitchen garden. Now I feed my family and earn extra income selling vegetables.
